“I was approaching a stop light with 3 vehicles ahead of me. I had slowed down almost to a complete stop when all of a sudden the engine roared and the car lurched forward into the back of the pickup in front of me. I had the brake completely to the floor and then my rear wheels begin spinning with the motor still roaring. I was finally able to put the (automatic transmission) car in park as it seemed to be stuck when I first tried to get it out of gear and still the motor was revving up and still lurching forward and turned the key off and it shut down. …”
