“While slowing down making a left or right turn it will not turn. It's as if the power steering malfunctions for a second. It caused me to overshoot a parking space in the city and have to back up and try again. This has happened several times. I have an appointment with Gmc to have it checked out. This is very dangerous.”

NHTSA complaint #11053778, filed 2017-12, 43,000 miles

“The power steering goes out when turning. This is happening more and more frequently. 2014 Gmc trucks have a recall (#14743) addressing this power steering assist issue. Gmc said that I need to get it fixed at my cost.”

NHTSA complaint #11382728, filed 2020-12, 45,000 miles

“Having tire issues with my new 2015 Gmc 2500 4wd pick up the bridgestone tires that are installed as factory equipment size 265x70x17 load range 'e' they have a tendency to wonder and at times and not following a curve. The alignment was out and realigned by Gmc at 7000 miles. The problem didn't go away. I called a bridgstone dealer and he said the tire size was incorrect they need to be 245x75x17 load range 'e' firestone tires.GM is refussing to put on the correct size. I checked with michelin and they recommend 245x75x17 load range 'e' tires. …”

NHTSA complaint #10809330, filed 2015-12, 7,000 miles

“Power steering intermittently goes out on low speed, low engine RPM, right hand turns. I have had vehicle to dealer to have issue fixed on may 16, 2017. They indicated they could not duplicate problem. Model year 2014 have been recalled for this issue, but not 2015 model year trucks”
