“Took 2003 cr/v to Honda dealer for wheel alignment. Dealer stated: right rear camber is out of tolerance. Unable to align. Recommend installing adjustable camber control arm. Parts and labor estimate $389. Looking on the internet, this seems to be a problem with very many cr/v owners. It causes excess tire wear.”

NHTSA complaint #10760400, filed 2015-08, 134,000 miles

“Front end pulls hard to right on uneven pavement, or on highway if small cut lines are on roadway. Vehicle has always pulled to right since new and I have had to have wheel alignments more than twice a year. Vehicle has never been in an accident. Vehicle had warranty work for clunking noise in front end when new. Have went through several sets of tires prematurely because the tires on the front always wear out on the outer and inner edge. Tires are always properly inflated to mfg specs. …”

NHTSA complaint #10373561, filed 2010-12, 1 miles

“While backing out of the drive way (5-10 MPH), the consumer heard a loud cracking noise and noticed the front right wheel was leaning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer informed the consumer that the lower right ball joint needed to be replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #10095524, filed 2004-10, 35,000 miles

“While in motion consumer notice a clunking sound coming from the vehicle. It was taken to two separate dealers. The first dealer could not locate the problem. The second dealer informed the consumer that the problem was the sway bar link.”

NHTSA complaint #10103908, filed 2004-12, 18,000 miles

“Car pulls to right, was somewhat corrected 18 months later, but shop overcorrected the fix and now it drifts to the left. Pulls to the right upon acceleration.”
