“The contact stated when the vehicle was taken to an independent certified mechanic for the regular service brakes, the front of the vehicle was lifted up and the mechanic noticed the suspension dropped down. The contact was alerted by the mechanic because of the seriousness of the defect, and referred the contact to a dealership technician. The dealership informed there was no recall for the defect. The manufacturer was contacted, who referred the contact to the service manager. When the service manager was notified, an estimate from a body shop was requested. …”
