“Engine rattles at early morning start up , Honda aware of vtc actuator default and needs to open a recall cases to all crv made between 2012-2014. I have had to replace the cam shafts, and drive belt. I have had to replace the control arms and tires. All mt dash lights have come on while I was driving. The car shakes and is scary to drive. This car has safety issues with the control arms in the suspension and acceleration issues that have been reported by consumers. When does someone decide that this is a safety issue. …”

“I got into my car and because the weather was nice, I turned off the air conditioner and lowered the back windows. I entered the interstate highway, and when my speed reached 40 MPH, a loud roar came from the back of the car and the back started shaking and vibrating. I was scared and pulled off the road. I thought the suspension or the wheels/tires had failed. I made a visual inspection and could see no problem. A Honda dealer was near, so I slowly drove to their service bay. …”

NHTSA complaint #10747225, filed 2015-08, 18,720 miles

“On 2/10/2014, around 8:50 am est I was alone and driving to the office when my car skidded and I lost control. Due to the momentum the car had gained, it went into a free spin. Though this car is equipped with awd and ABS, it still could not correct the skid and went out of control. It dashed against a tree on the pathway from the passenger side. This impact resulted in driver side air bags to deploy, however it exploded instead of inflating. This incident has resulted in injuries to my hand, neck and back. …”

NHTSA complaint #10684140, filed 2015-02, 33,600 miles

“There is a knocking type of noise when braking, brought the car to dealership in roswell, ga could not duplicate the problem. The noise still occurring intermittently, no a good sign for a new car.”

NHTSA complaint #10516132, filed 2013-06, 400 miles

“1. Left rear lower control arm 2. Where the lower control arm attaches to the body rusted thru and failed 3. It has been inspected by me the owner and it’s obvious the bracket is gone 4. I see no reason to tow the vehicle to be inspected adding cost to this problem 5. No warnings just lower control arm dropped when bracket collapsed causing tire to drop I see recalls for other year Honda crv Just not 2013. Please let me know why? Thank you,”
