“When braking the brake pedal seemed soft and after about 40 miles of driving it went all the way to the floor. I had reached home by then. There were drops of fluid on the pavement after I backed in and parked.I had the car towed to the Hyundai dealer and inspection revealed that not only both brake lines had rusted through, but, the fuel lines had also rusted through and were leaking.”
NHTSA complaint #11402693, filed 2021-03, 53,000 miles“Car was parked and locked with all systems off. Later I noticed brake lights on. Called Hyundai and informed them inquiring if there was a recall about this problem. They told me to take to dealer and have them perform diagnostic to determine cause. They said it was brake light switch.dealer changed switch(2),relay. Problem still exist.”
NHTSA complaint #11269856, filed 2019-10, 81,800 miles“Takata recalls. My radio bluetooth doesn't work nor does the usb. I'm constantly having to change rear lightbulbs. When my car reaches a certain speed it starts to shake. My tire sensor put a hole in my tire. My seat belts will not connect. I'm just had to change the alternator. And the engine makes a ticking sound.”
NHTSA complaint #11208562, filed 2019-05, 117,000 miles“I was pulling into a parking space on a sunday afternoon at a business park. It was mid day and dry. I was slowing down and half way into the space when the car suddenly accelerated. It seemed like the car went out of my control. The car was stopped by a 3' shrub or else I would have crashed into the building. In the process, a car parked beside me was also damaged.”
NHTSA complaint #11090188, filed 2018-04, 38,000 miles“My brake lights went out at same time, so I was researching what to do and read about the one recall (#146) that I had done already. It said something about starting your car without depressing the brake pedal. I do not depress the pedal when I start my car. Is this an issue?”
