NHTSA complaint #11341583, filed 2020-07, 148,000 miles“I was driving at about 30 MPH, I came to a turn and when I slowed down I lost power from the engine. The radio and headlights still functioned for a while after but eventually went out. Engine burns oil faster than any other car I have owned, also since I have been driving this car oil is usually always burnt or black from previous oil change.”

I take care of the car and maintain it and the engine just failed in the middle of a residential road at a stop sign. Turns out it was one of many that Hyundai offered an extended warranty on but I was never notified my engine or car for that matter was one on a national recall and backorder.”
