“The vehicle has seat belt and airbag recalls and the manufacturer has refused to complete them on the car. They had the car in a dealership for 90 days and have not completed the recalls on the car. I would like them to move forward and complete the work on the car so that I can get it removed from the repairing dealership.”

The vehicle would no longer start. I check engine oil levels where normal. Had to have the car towed to the nearest dealer and I am waiting Hyundai response to how this will be fixed.”

NHTSA complaint #11271121, filed 2019-10, 100,000 miles“Engine failed: loud noise, rattling sound, inability to accelerate beyond 45mph. Two shops we took it to diagnosed as engine failed, replace engine ... Based on compression test, stethoscope to engine, etc. The car was being driven on a highway, when the noise started, lack of acceleration was felt, driver pulled off the highway, and drove slowly up to a nearby parking lot. We actually drove 12 miles on city streets to a mechanic shop we knew who gave the first diagnosis.”
