“Car in dealership for second time due to engine failure while driving (second time in shop for engine recall). My concerns are the safety of this vehicle with my family, my home and my community. These cars are catching on fire throughout our country and there is no price on a life.”

NHTSA complaint #11154834, filed 2018-11, 198,000 miles

“The seat belt warning chime is inaudible to me. This is a safety issue as the volume is so low. I do not have this issue with my second car (ford) nor any of the other cars I have ever owned (over 5) over the years since chimes were installed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician did not offer any assistance claiming they are unable to alter the design of the vehicle. I contacted the manufacturer and was told to contact a different dealer (which I did). …”

They found that the vehicle was not making chime sounds caused by insufficient volume coming from chime in bcm.they ordered the module to correct and replaced it a few days later. When I left the dealership I could not tell any difference in the chime sound. So I thought it might be my hearing and scheduled an apointment with and ear doctor. I explained to him what was happening. …”

When I reached back, my seat belt snapped and broke from the connecting point on the floor board. My husband took it on to Hyundai and they have stated they are unsure as to why it snapped. My husband went back to get the vehicle and the service tech stated that it still wasn't fixed. He stated that when it was initially fixed and someone sat in the seat and turned it snapped again. …”
