“I bought my 2016 Jeep Compass Latitude in September of 2021 with a warranty which because of some rotor and other issues they gave me a loaner vehicle while they did the repairs for a week or so. It didn't give me too many problems for a while but then in these last two years or so then a lot has been breaking on it or acting up & I only got a little over 86k miles on it, but any warranties are expired at 80K. …”

“I was on a vacation trip and my son was driving. The steering wheel locked up and he crashed into a pole. My wife and I thought the steering was rough but thought it would ease up. After the car was hit the axel on the right passenger side was destroyed. He wasn't moving fast enough for the axel to get damaged which leads me to believe the axel was poorly constructed in the first place. No my car is stuck in a friend's driveway with no way of getting it home. This has been a nightmare.”

NHTSA complaint #10897932, filed 2016-08

The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the front passenger’s side control arms and bearings needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the rear of the vehicle experienced a similar failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
