“Twice now after reversing my car a little distance, the car would only forcefully move forward after putting it in drive, and it would stop immediately after taking my foot off of the gas without touching the brake. I tried to push the brake down to put the car in park, but the brake pedal was stuck up. I have had the car towed twice to a garage, but they can't seem to find the problem and the vehicle will move again after sitting for hours.”
NHTSA complaint #11207011, filed 2019-05, 145 miles“I got this vehicle on sep 2013 when took it front the dealer I noticed front end vibration, call for appointment when arrive to dealership they said it needed new tires bought new tires at local pepboys, when back with same problem, they then said again are the tires when they were new.this vibration is coming from front end is very loud sounds like wheel bearing they said that is the way the car is. …”
NHTSA complaint #10546576, filed 2013-10, 31,600 miles“Low PSI indicator on spare was on so I lowered the spare tire to put air in it and I noticed the valve stem was broke off at the top. After looking on the internet I found this is a common problem with chrysler on their valve stems. It happens all the time on all wheels not just the spare. The cost to fix is around $100 a tire!!! In till chrysler fixes their cheap valve stem sensor system I will put in the old fashion rubber valve stems and just put up with the dash lights!!!!”
NHTSA complaint #10483467, filed 2012-11, 110,000 miles“Driving with my wife on I-95 north in connecticut early saturday morning, our right rear tire instantly lost air pressure. I saw the low air warning light go on first, then immediately felt the vehicle wobble to the point where I could barely control it. I was able to safely get it to the right side shoulder where I changed the tire. I noticed that the entire valve was missing from the rim. I did not notice any nails or other penetrations of the tire itself. Had it been one of the front tires, I might have lost control of the car. …”
NHTSA complaint #10721434, filed 2015-05, 70,000 miles“On 4 separate occasions while driving my vehicle the ABS system on the Jeep turns on and my car comes to a stop. I am unable to move the car and I have had it towed to the Jeep dealership to be looked at. My car has been in their shop 4 times for service. Each time I am told the problem has been fixed and each time it occurs again. This issue is an extremely dangerous situation as my car literally is unable to move and comes to a complete halt. It has occurred while driving on the highway , at an intersection, and driving up hill. …”
