NHTSA complaint #11204866, filed 2019-04, 75,000 miles“The airbag light keeps turning on and off while driving the vehicle. I heard jeeps have many problems with the airbags. I have also replace 5 water pumps on this vehicle paying for 2 of them the others were done under the TSB from chrysler. I also have a problem with the heat coming out of the vents on the drivers side of the vehicle. I have heard of many jeeps with the same problem this started about 3 years ago”
NHTSA complaint #11234743, filed 2019-07, 140,000 miles“For no reason, the airbag warning light came on. Though there is warranty, they are telling us it isn't covered under warranty. I will never buy another chrysler vehicle as long as I live. There have been other instances that should have been covered but we were lied to regarding the extended warranty coverage added...enough said.”
NHTSA complaint #10667952, filed 2014-12, 51,000 miles“Takata recall - my vehicle is 8 years old. A lot of problems have started to happen two years ago which I have paid out of my pocket considering it as age maintenance. Two years ago I was not going to pay dealer $800 cost to fix my front door locks that don't go up or down. I just do it the old fashion way. Recently my passenger front door has added the problem of the window button not working, which is a possible life safety of a person who could be forced to escape that way. Takata recall - now!!! …”
NHTSA complaint #11101730, filed 2018-06, 86,985 miles“Takata recall: not sure how long a occupancy restraint module should last, but I know mine apparently is 7 years with 77,300 miles on it. May 10th, 2017 I had been driving my car all day, we made a stop at kroger and when we got into the vehicle the airbag light came on. Nothing we could do that night, so we went to a birthday dinner and while driving there it stayed on. Came out after we were finished the light had turned off. I turned the vehicle on to leave work on tuesday may 16, 2017 and the light had come on again. …”
