“Shortly after I bought my 2008 Jeep wrangler in 2015 from the local dealership it started to intermittently not start. It wouldn't even turn over. Had it towed to the same local Jeep dealer that I bought it from and they checked it out. It turned out to be a faulty tipm. They replaced the faulty tipm and now two years later it is doing the same thing.”

NHTSA complaint #11045427, filed 2017-11, 98,341 miles

“In october 2016 took my car in for oil change and the dealership advised me of a recall of clock spring. I have had my car in 4 times for faulty clock springs. My airbag lights and horn go off at random times sometimes my horn never works and my air bag light goes crazy with the horn...like the car is possessed.”

NHTSA complaint #11002331, filed 2017-06, 145,000 miles

“My airbag sensor is continuously coming on and off. I noticed that there is a recall on right hand drive vehicles but I suspect there is something to this. As well...my electrical system is always on the fritz. Some days the radio works...some days it doesn't. My engine light is constantly on and no one finds anything wrong with the engine...”

NHTSA complaint #10760483, filed 2015-08, 180,000 miles

“On my Jeep wrangler the tipm went out. I understand that 2008 Jeep wrangler have this as a recall but they have told me my VIN number hasn't shown up to be a problem yet or next in line for this recall. Is there a way I can get my Jeep VIN to show so I can get this fixed. Whippers are going off even tho its off. Dash lights won't turn on or show I have any fuel. I can not change the gear.”

NHTSA complaint #11030217, filed 2017-09, 53,000 miles

“After my vehicle sitting outside of my job for 8 hours running without my knowledge I then come out to a dead Jeep!, I was told I needed a new tipm why wasn't this recalled and why is the dealership making me responsible for something I had my Jeep 1 month! Sad to say Jeep is not taking responsibility for this it is very dangerous that my vehicle can stay on and cut off when ever it wants too!”
