“I purchased a 2002 Jeep Wrangler from shakers Jeep dealer. South main streeet, waterbury, ct. After having the Jeep for one month the windshield piited inbetween the glasss.it was alset to have plymouth glass to install. Then shaker Jeep went out of buisness! All there customers where sent to bradshaw Jeep. To make a long story short when the sun or head lights hit the winshild it is blinding! In october I went to bradshaw and spoke to daimler/chrysler about the problem. For 2 month's I have e-mailed and call both with no success, since then at 4:30 a.m. …”
NHTSA complaint #10045997, filed 2003-11, 1,000 miles“When driving on ice or snow the 4-wheel drive kicks out, causing vehicle to jerk and potentially slid. No impact had been reported. The vehicle was in motion when it felt as if the transmission dropped out. The vehicle had to be stopped to get back into 4wd. The lever was held tightly and popped out again. The vehicle was driven in 2wd for several miles then was able to be placed back into 4wd and stayed. Also, the upholstery had started to tear on the driver's seat and the gaskets on both mirrors deteriorated.”
