Within minutes the fire consumed the entire front of my Jeep Wrangler. I never had any problems before this not even a check engine light was on.”

NHTSA complaint #10512833, filed 2013-05, 49,000 miles

“I drove my 2010 Jeep Wrangler sahara unlimited through water that was sitting in a pasture that had been shredded. 30 minutes later my car was on fire. The design of the skid plate allowed the grass that was floating on the water to be pushed under the skid plate and around the catalytic converter, within 30 minutes the grass dried and caught on fire. I had 3 kids in the car on our way back from a rodeo and ended up watching my Jeep burn at 1:00 in the morning. Chrysler will not take any responsibility for this and has denied my claim. …”
