“Jeep started violently shaking when hitting a bump in a city road, tightened lose sway bar, but a couple weeks later noticed violent shaking again when traveling on the highway and almost caused me to lose control of the vehicle and had vehicle towed home. Will not drive as I am terrified of causing an accident and death.”
NHTSA complaint #11291880, filed 2019-12, 77,000 miles“Abs light, anti-skid light and traction control light come on. Touched the brake slightly and Jeep went into a skid. My steering wheel wants to lock up, my brakes are trying to brake. Seems like a faulty ABS wheel sensor and eveeyone is having this problem”
NHTSA complaint #11407691, filed 2021-04, 179,000 miles“Our 2012 Jeep Wrangler unlimited has stock wheels and rims, in fact it has the smallest stock wheels and rims offered by the manufacturer. We have not upsized our wheels and rims with aftermarket products. The metal strap (that's what they call it at the dealer) on the tailgate that keeps it from swinging wide open broke, and when it broke it swung open and broke the tail light lens and housing. The dealer replaced it under warranty, and within a week it broke a second time. The dealer replaced it a second time. Again, within a week, it broke for a third time. …”
