“Unresolved Death Wobble after four attempts, the vehicle has experienced the recurring death wobble, steering control issue that has been presented to the dealership 4 times for repair, despite the repair attempts the problem remains. Because the issue involves steering stability and control i no longer feel safe operating the vehicle. I am requesting this be documented as a safety issue”

NHTSA complaint #11755440, filed 2026-08

“When I first got it, I would get on the highway and once I hit 80mph it would do a wobble. I was told by the dealership it was normal and they couldn't replicate it. Then it got worse, anytime I hit 60mph on the hwy it wobbles.”

NHTSA complaint #11693684, filed 2025-10

“Since I leased the car, I have taken it to the dealers 4 different times for the steering wheel shaking out of control the first time the fixed it but turned me away the 2nd and 3rd time. Each time I requested the left mid speaker to be checked and replaced but they refused to do anything about it until my last oil change 2 months ago. Last year around November they fixed and oil leak, but the cat never leaked oil form the bottom. The Jeep was burning oil not leaking oil and they never did a consumption test. I took it in because the oil levels were low. …”

“The steering wheel shakes a high speeds over 70 on highways . I’ve had it in and have had the steering wheel replaced . Another time the dealer thought it was the “death wobble” then said they didn’t find anything wrong but said it was a problem with the battery making the car heavy . This problem was not occurring previously and I drive this car every day. It does not feel right or normal . I’ve had it in over 3 times and they have not been able to find or duplicate an issue . There is a death wobble issue with Jeep but I cannot get the dealership to help with the problem .”

NHTSA complaint #11698458, filed 2025-11

“Three active recalls on this vehicle currently and have not had the vehicle a full calendar year yet. Two pertaining to fire-risk recall which can result in increased risk of occupant injury and injury to persons outside vehicle. The recall instructions state there is an issue with battery and engine which can cause fire. The recall instructions state to not charge the vehicle nor park in garage and to park it outside away from buildings due to risk of thermal runway. The engine may contact materials which can also cause fire. Because of this, the vehicle is not safe to drive. …”
