“While driving on the highway my Jeep lost speed and power steering. All the warning lights flashed on and off while dinging. Dealership can't get a code to see what the problem is to fix correctly. Jeep has 2 dangerous recalls that could catch fire while driving or sitting. Both issues put my life at risk. Stellantis denied buy back.”

NHTSA complaint #11702842, filed 2025-12

“Jeep pushed out an OTA update for their Uconnect system. Upon completion of this update, that occurred while I was driving, I lost control of my vehicle. My steering wheel locked up, all of the lights on my dashboard started flashing, and I was instructed to pull the jeep over. I was unable to operate the vehicle and had to be towed.”

“Unresolved Death Wobble after four attempts, the vehicle has experienced the recurring death wobble, steering control issue that has been presented to the dealership 4 times for repair, despite the repair attempts the problem remains. Because the issue involves steering stability and control i no longer feel safe operating the vehicle. I am requesting this be documented as a safety issue”

NHTSA complaint #11755440, filed 2026-08

“With the current recall on a specific part for the Jeep Wrangler, there is currently no resolution to the problem. I worry that my vehicle with catch on fire or catch nearby vehicles on fire. I live in Georgia and the temperature has been very high this summer. I cannot ensure my vehicle is parked away from others since I live in a high populated city. I would prefer some remedy for this situation.”

“Vehicle completely lost power while driving nearly resulting in an accident. Engine cut off and loss of power occured including power steering. Vehicle stated to put car in park while Vehicle was still in motion. Vehicle restarted but then the same thing happened. This occured 4 more times. I was able to make it to the dealership near by. I had young children in the car at the time.”
