“I was traveling in the right lane on I-75 at approximately 70 miles an hour, and my Wrangler completely lost all power and began to suddenly decelerate in traffic. I lost all acceleration ability, power brakes, and power steering. I immediately had to change lanes and exit the highway onto the shoulder while trying to avoid other vehicles all while struggling to steer and brake.”

NHTSA complaint #11733887, filed 2026-04

“Was driving down the highway, warning lights on the dashboard illuminated. Lost power, engine and electrical power. Message to place Jeep in park came on. Pulled car to shoulder. It would not start for two hours. Tow truck arrived. Jeep would start. Taken to Jeep dealership and nothing was found wrong with it. Same thing happened one week later. I checked ant there is no recall for my specific car”

“In Highway speeds the death Wobble is uncontrollable. To the point my daughters in the back got scared and cried thinking we would crash. I take to jeep and they told me nothing was wrong. They lied to me.”

NHTSA complaint #11743972, filed 2026-06

“When driving on the freeway. Car starts to wobble and the whole car starts to shake. The steering wheel trembles as well. Every time I hit a bump it starts to wobble more.. everyday it keeps getting worse as I drive it.”

NHTSA complaint #11638487, filed 2025-01

“On October 27th, my Jeep started shaking violently as I was driving on the highway. I brought the Jeep to the dealership, they test drove it, and the mechanic did not experience the shaking so I was told “that’s just what Jeeps do”. I then researched Jeep shaking and found the Death Wobble is a common problem among Jeeps and there are several ways to fix it. I took my Jeep back to the dealership, they once again test drove it and could not replicate the wobble. …”
