“Ever since the 68c recall update my Jeep has been having a hard time knowing what system it should be using to drive. The electric system shuts off, but the engine doesn’t start up until I press the gas pedal to the floor. I’ve had multiple instances on the freeway where this has happened and almost caused me to wreck. I’m very concerned this is happening.”

NHTSA complaint #11719650, filed 2026-02

“after a recent recall (68C) for my 4xe the driving characteristics of my vehicle have totally changed. accelerationis delayed and jerky with the engine cutting in and out very unpredictavely now. electric range has also gone down in a real world scenario. Jeep has not clarified or explained that the recall did to the driving dynamics of the vehicle after the recall.”

NHTSA complaint #11725535, filed 2026-03

“Driving in parking lot, as I went to turn into a spot, my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe suddenly accelerated as if I had floored the gas. Unintentional acceleration continued as I applied and pumped the brakes. The Jeep hit a concrete and metal pole in the lot, and continued to try to accelerate, crawling up the pole until the engine was shut off.”

NHTSA complaint #11669317, filed 2025-06

“Since my 68C recall repair my jeep has suffered from sudden electric power loss. This can occur when trying to accelerate from a stop or merging into faster moving traffic. This can also happen while driving and attempting to accelerate resulting in sudden slowdown before gas engine kicks in. This happens daily.”

NHTSA complaint #11766230, filed 2026-09

“This vehicle has 3 catastrophic and dangerous recalls. I have attempted jeep several times to try to get it escalated, but they have ignored us. The vehicle lost power suddenly in busy traffic 2 times, causing my wife to almost be involved in an accident. We have no confidence in driving this vehicle. Hoping you can help”
