“When driving my Jeep 4xe hybrid powertrain in electric mode, I noticed loss of power at highway speeds, and other times at lower speeds. Pushing on gas pedal doesn't translate to acceleration. Engine kicks on but doesn't have a gear to find. This happens at various speeds, going 25mph up a hill or 55mph on a highway either flat or up a hill.”
NHTSA complaint #11765540, filed 2026-09“When driving about 50 miles per hour on the highway, it felt like my engine suddenly gave out and my dash turned off. When it came back in, there were multiple indicator lights and a message that read Pull over safely and shift to Park. I did just that, but after that I couldn't get the car to turn back on or shift out of park. I had to have to towed to the dealer and it has been there since 10/13.”
NHTSA complaint #11773408, filed 2026-10“Was informed of this recall back in November of 2023. It is approximately 3 months later, and the dealership has heard nothing from Stellantis about how to repair this recall. I also have heard nothing from Stellantis. In the mean time, I cannot fully use the vehicle in the manner it was made, which is why I made the purchase.”
NHTSA complaint #11571292, filed 2024-02“Yesterday, for the second time, the car shutdown while I was driving. I was on the road, close to 60 mph and the car turned the engines off. It shut down and the D light on the gear shift was blinking. I had to quickly try to get to the right lane, without any engine. After 3 tentatives, when I turned it back on, the engine light was on.”
NHTSA complaint #11449497, filed 2022-01“Part z96 high pressure fuel pump was recalled over a year ago with no parts or fix. I had been calling every 2-3 months to check and was informed the fix was not available. Over a month ago, the fuel pump failed and the car shut off while I was driving. Metal was sent through the entire fuel system. The whole fuel system needs replaced and the Jeep sits at the dealer with no parts available.”
