“After the recall on the hybrid battery and getting it replaced, I have experienced loss of power, especially when merging onto a highway, I don’t have acceleration like I did before. Sometimes the vehicle will “fall on its face “when going to pass another slow vehicle I feel like this is extremely dangerous when trying to maneuver into traffic”

NHTSA complaint #11773515, filed 2026-10

“When driving above 50mph, when I drive over a road seam, the car shakes almost uncontrollably. I have to slow down to make the car stop shaking. I have brought the car to Jeep service THREE TIMES in a period of 12 months. Still having the same issue. It is very dangerous. I cannot rely on this car (only 3 years old) to drive on a highway. Very dangerous!!”

NHTSA complaint #11550348, filed 2023-10

“While driving on a one way high way. Was about to overtake a semi truck. While half way on the opposite lane doing a legal overtake my acceleration decreased significantly, nearly causing my passengers and I to get into a head on collision with the another vehicle. All of this was due to the fact that the Jeep’s acceleration was decreased. …”

NHTSA complaint #11421529, filed 2021-06

“We were on the way to drop our kids off at school when the car gave us a bunch of errors (see pictures). Once we got out of the driveway, the Jeep would not go faster than 5mph. It was towed to the dealer on May 4 and has been there ever since. I have been given conflicting information on what is wrong with it from the dealership and the manufacturer. No ETA on fix.”

NHTSA complaint #11419328, filed 2021-06

“After taking my jeep 4xe in for the 95B recall I drove around 50 miles and the check engine light came on. Once home vehicle would not turn on or charge. Error on dash said “charging system error.” Next day the vehicle would turn on be experience extreme slowness after stopping with bursts of acceleration. The accceleration and breaking system were extremely jerky and I felt like I didn’t know how the car would respond when accelerating which was dangerous.”
