“I was driving a 2019 Jeep Wrangler that I bought at the end of january 2020, I barely have 3,300 miles on it, due to covid and remote working. I was driving on rte. 287 south doing 70 MPH I must have hit a bump or imperfection in the road, all of a sudden the whole car started to violently vibrate and shake, I had to go from the left lane over to the right shoulder while slowing down to about 30 until the shaking stopped and also was able to exit to a local road. …”

NHTSA complaint #11384928, filed 2020-12, 3,280 miles

“The first time the car had a sign that said 'stop safely vehicle will shut off soon' I pulled into a parking lot and the car turned off and wouldn't turn back on. The second time I stopped at a stop sign I got no message or warning and the car completely turned off, and would not turn back on. The third time I was at a red light and got the 'stop safely message' as well as various other warning messages'then the vehicle shut off again completely. Wouldn't start. The forth time, I was at a 4 way intersection with a 3 way stop I did not have a stop sign but the person to my right thought I did. …”

NHTSA complaint #11350811, filed 2020-08, 8,000 miles

“Steering on road worse on highway have to keep both hands on wheel due to car drifting from left to right. Scary! 2. Cruise control won't engage, have to press settings again. When press set then + for speed very delayed before engages and problem is intermittent. 3. Inside manual door locks do not work. Won't lock or unlock . Day one since purchased this has happened with all of the above.”

NHTSA complaint #11328077, filed 2020-06, 100 miles

“Jeep acceleration from a stop is inconsistent. This concern is worse when accelerating from a slow speed. Upon initially applying light pressure to the gas pedal, there is no response, but then the vehicle lurches ahead aggressively and in an unexpected manner. This is counter-intuitive as the vehicle is equipped with etorque, which is electronically applied torque to assist acceleration. …”

NHTSA complaint #11281916, filed 2019-11, 4,800 miles

“Dash panel started flashing all gauges went to zero. All warning lamps lit ABS failure, power steering stopped, service antilock breaks, service electronic stability control, auto park disabled and service shift warnings started popping up. I was going 70 mph on the highway when the power steering went out. Luckily I didn’t hit anyone.”
