“The instrument panel cluster failed in my vehicle. It is the only source of information for most systems. It is a major safety concern that this is not working. I saw there is a recall for Jeep vehicles in my model year range, but my vin is not included in the recall. can my VIN please be added? My vehicle is now inoperable because of this and has been so for over 3 weeks.”
NHTSA complaint #11644410, filed 2025-02“The vehicle will randomly show service shifter then it will loose power steering, gears won’t change. It happened while driving on a winding road. Scary. The instrument cluster will show random erratic readings like mileage will be off. Temperature goes to zero fuel gauge misread vehicle get stuck into a higher gear and won’t downshift doing research online I found a recall bulletin for 24V652000 and in that bulletin, it describes what my vehicle does, but my vehicle is not considered part of the recall bulletin. …”
NHTSA complaint #11663529, filed 2025-05“I was driving on the highway merging on a bridge before entering a tunnel, there was a car in from of me that was rolling slow. My Forward Collision Warning did not go off when the car was in front of me but when the car was about 3-4 car lengths away and was driving away the warning went off and the emergency automatic brake engaged and there was nothing in front of me. I was almost rear ended and could not get my Jeep to move. The automatic brake disengaged and I was then able to drive normally.”
