“I was involved in an automobile collision. It was a T- Bone collision on the driver side. My vehicle flipped on it's side, the moon roof completely shattered, my seatbelt released me and I was ejected through the moon roof. The vehicle landed on top of me. All of my air bags did not deploy even though my vehicle rolled over twice.”
NHTSA complaint #11698884, filed 2025-11“What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The car suddenly shutoff How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? I was doing a U-TURN when the vehicle turned off. It took about a minute for the car to turn on and I was left in the middle of the road. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Not yet. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? …”
NHTSA complaint #11576628, filed 2024-03“I am submitting this complaint regarding the August 2026 recall of the Evenflo Revolve180 LiteMax NXT infant car seat and rotating base system. I purchased the Revolve180 LiteMax NXT travel system along with an additional rotating base for use in a second vehicle. I subsequently learned that my car seat and at least one of the rotating bases were included in the recall affecting products manufactured before April 1, 2025. According to Evenflo, certain affected products failed to meet federal safety performance requirements due to a calibration issue with the level indicator. …”
NHTSA complaint #11773901, filed 2026-10“The Panoramic roof glass shattered. It was not hit by any external debris. It just exploded scaring the driver almost losing vehicle control. The dealer inspected it and confirmed nothing external caused it, however KIA will not warrant it. Our insurance company has not inspected it yet. It is available for inspection.”
NHTSA complaint #11700393, filed 2025-11“The passengers window will not roll down the sound of clicking you can hear though when switch pushed this is a VERY common ongoing issue via KIA SORENTO COMMUNITY THREAD THAT GOES BACK OVER 7 years it’s never addressed or serious it seems for the services dept of several member’s experience to find the cause leading to ongoing hassle and inconvenience for those with one dealer hours away and the vehicle as NEW BRAND NEW ONLY 3k miles as mine!
