NHTSA complaint #10554217, filed 2013-11, 131,680 miles“I was driving on 295 heading to foster ri. I was driving on the highway going about 55 MPH when my SUV started to buck then the check engine light started blinking and my SUV wouldn't even do 40 MPH so I got off the highway and pulled into a parking lot on hartford ave johnston waited for a tow truck while waiting my car stalled and wouldn't start back up. If I didn't get off the highway when I did I would of been involved in a car crash because I couldn't even do the speed limit. I feel this should be a recall because it's considered a safety issue to me. …”
NHTSA complaint #11290348, filed 2019-12, 115,000 miles“The brakes shutter when making stops and the pedal becomes hard then goes all the way down. This has happened many times whether at slow speeds in the city and highway speed, which almost LED to an accident because the vehicle almost did not stop. Also the ABS light comes on when driving on highway. I've had many parts replaced such as suspension front and rear, stabilizer arms in front, calipers, brake pads etc. But the vehicle continues to have this issue.”

Suddenly, the vehicle accelerated forward at a high rate of speed jumping the shallow curb and slamming into the cement foundation of the store.
