This has not gone away! I took the van to the mechanic and he said it was the brake (power brake booster and master cylinder) I have called auto stores to get the part but they tell me they cant even get the parts I need to get this fixed! I have to drive my van like this because I have no other vehicle and I have a husband and 3 children that I take to work and school every day. …”

She had to go 5 MPH all the way home. She spoke with someone at chrysler, who notified her that there was manufacturer's recall 685 on vehicle concerning the brakes. The dealer told her it would be two weeks before they could fix the recall because they have to make the part that was recalled. NHTSA complaint #10139713, filed 2005-10, 160,000 miles“I had the ABS repaired on a recall. Since the recall I have had problems with the system. The lite continuosly goes on and the brakes would go from ABS to manual several times on ice and rain. Since the weather warmed the brakes seem to work better and the ABS lite quit coming on but brake fluid runs out the fill resavoir when the vehicle is parked. Is there a connection with the hydraulics and the parts that were replace with the recall?”
