“I purchased the 2009 Pontiac G6 in 2011, since then I've replaced the passengers side low beam head ligh bulb a total of 10 times. I've had 2 pig tails installed in the last 2 years; now the problem still persist as of today. Something is wrong with Pontiac G6 headlights system. I've read serveral complaints of the same thing.”
NHTSA complaint #10908905, filed 2016-09, 140,000 miles“I've been replacing parts to try to solve the problem of why the brake lights stay on, the cruise control kicks off, the traction control stays on. All these problems are all at the same time.I get it fixed and then 3 weeks later its the same all over again but it keeps getting worse. Alot of people I know with this car keep spending money and it never gets fixed the right way. We all need a solution.”
NHTSA complaint #10840426, filed 2016-03, 74,000 miles“Headlights don't work. The right headlight doesn't work - the left cuts out. I've seen reports that GM has extended the warranty for this problem but when I call the dealership or GM service direct they don't know anything about it. Gm service hung up on me when I told the person that if they don't know the difference between a throttle body and a headlight they shouldn't be manning the service line for general motors.”
NHTSA complaint #11019318, filed 2017-08, 100,000 miles“Low beam light on both the driver & passenger sides keep going out. I keep replacing and immediately they go out. Bulbs were not burnt out. Every once in a while, while driving my headlights will randomly come on and go off again. Also, the taillights and blinker!! Very mad and I do not have a money tree to fund this issue. Someone needs to stand up and fix this now!!!!”
NHTSA complaint #10563509, filed 2014-02, 52,000 miles“The door locks keep locking and unlocking on their own and now the back passanger door lock stopped working. My brake lights stay on when I'm driving and the bad light keeps coming on but my garage can't figure out why, they said there's no reason for it.”
