“While slowly backing down the driveway of my home and turning into the street, I heard a loud bang which seemed to come from the front of the vehicle. I proceeded to put the vehicle into drive and slowly drove the truck back into driveway when at that time the right front tire broke away from the vehicle. The right lower control arm had broke in half where it was attached to the ball joint. …”

NHTSA complaint #10983874, filed 2017-05, 32,245 miles

“There is a loud click noise inside of the front drivers side wheel. It occurs when the vehicle has the wheel completely turned to one direction which makes me believe it's steering or something inside the suspension. It was told to me at the dealership that it was a ball joint, which was replaced and it still happened again.”

NHTSA complaint #10743687, filed 2015-07, 3,000 miles

“My truck has an air suspension system. The issue began when the front passenger side air bag began to lower three inches overnight. Then on the highway I received a message from the truck saying the suspension needed immediate attention. When I got to the destination both the front and rear passenger suspension failed and was riding on the frame. I have had the ascm and nitrogen replaced, but the both front suspensions lower 2-3 inches while it sits overnight.”

NHTSA complaint #11340274, filed 2020-07, 68,500 miles

“Looks like my 2013 Ram 1500 express with 80,000 on it has bad left front bearings. It has a lot of movement when moving the tire top to bottom. And makes a noise when driving like something's rattling. There should be a recall on this since it's too soon for something like to happen. I'm very disappointed. I have owned nothing but dodge. And this Ram which is made now by fiat. Never had any problems before until now.”

NHTSA complaint #10986130, filed 2017-05, 75,000 miles

“Anytime the weather is cold I get a service air suspension immediately message. I've taken it to the dealer several times for it and they never find a problem. Two days ago I got a message stating that the air suspension could not be used because my payload was too heavy. The problem is, there was nothing in my truck except me so there wasn't a heavy payload. This morning my trucks front end was resting on the emergency bump stops and the air suspension was not functioning at all. …”
