“Engine check, traction control, anti-skid lights comes on with a message throttle control requires service. The engine losses all power or stalls making vehicle difficult to control, stop and get out of traffic. I have replaced the throttle control while the check engine light was on , it did not correct the problem. After the truck sits for a day or two all problems clear. 4-23-2019 is my third incident in 4 months.”

NHTSA complaint #11203135, filed 2019-04, 72,000 miles

“After coming to slower speeds (45 MPH) from highways speeds (75) my vehicle was driving by itself without my foot on the gas. This has happened multiple times and it keeps a constant speed of 35 MPH. The furthest I have driven like this is 2.5 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #10569091, filed 2014-03, 9,312 miles

“While driving my trucks dash will go blank, the vehicle shuts off and then resets. The last time this occurred, when the vehicle reset the throttle came back on wide open and almost caused a loss of control. I reacted by manually shutting down the vehicle and coming to a rest on the shoulder of the road. Once I restarted the vehicle all was ok. I was only a mile form the dodge dealer and returned it to them for a diagnosis. Again, nothing found. …”

NHTSA complaint #10649454, filed 2014-10, 12,212 miles

“I pulled into the driveway behind 2 parked cars. I stopped and put my truck in park and when I took my foot off the brake the truck revved up and went forward, I stepped on the brake to stop the truck, but the brakes failed to stop the truck from running into the 2 cars. As I kept pressing the brake the truck's engine was revving and the tires were burning rubber, I kept pressing the brake and the truck would not stop it was out of control. The truck rammed into both cars pushing one of them into the side of the neighbor's yard. All this happened while the truck was in park. …”

NHTSA complaint #11180970, filed 2019-02, 30,631 miles

“I was sitting in my truck in front of a convenience store for 20-30 minutes with the engine running while I caught up my texts and calls. When I got ready to leave I put my foot on the brake and put the vehicle in reverse. I glanced my mirrors and looked over my right shoulder and started to ease my foot off of the brake as I've done many times in the past. The next thing I know, I'm moving forward as if I had stomped on the accelerator and I crashed through the framing and glass of the store front. …”
