“I agreed to purchase this truck, but it had a recall on the tailgate. When I got home I couldn't quite use the tailgate. The dealer is saying to you the national highway that they fixed it and they will get paid for it. I as the customer will have to fight or have troubles down the road, literally! They checked off the repair and have been rushing me to sign over the title. Garber saginaw, mi is the dealer”

NHTSA complaint #11282407, filed 2019-11, 62,500 miles

“Defrost does not work, it is currently blowing cold air. This makes it extremely difficult to see on cold mornings. I've almost been hit twice pulling out of my road. I've taken it to 2 shops both gave me 2 different expensive answers but both say it's a common issue. I've looked online and it is in fact a common issue, and no one has a definite fix. So I can spend $1500 to 'maybe fix the issue, or spend $2300 and replace the whole system.”

NHTSA complaint #11265319, filed 2019-10, 85,000 miles

“My vehicle shifted into reverse by itself after I shifted it to park. Also, it makes a strange noise in the steering column when I try to shift from park into gear. Sometimes it clunks very hard into reverse. Luckily I was at a stop with the breaks on.”

NHTSA complaint #11084387, filed 2018-04, 85,000 miles

“While driving vehicle the rear tail gate opens on its own, this happens even after locking the doors with manual lock button in vehicle, this has happened numerous times , I had to stop and recover cargo which fell from pick up bed, when I reported problem to dealer I was told it is a faulty control unit and latch which was not covered on service contract , I purchased the vehicle new from security dodge chrysler in amityville , ny . , started around november 2017”

NHTSA complaint #11182250, filed 2019-02, 40,000 miles

“The automatic door locks when reaching a certain speed, the door lock remote and the door lock switches on the arm rests were only locking the passenger door. I changed the setting through the radio from lights flash when locking to no flash and all locks locked. Even before I made the change the remote, the armrest switches and the automatic unlock would unlock all locks just fine. This fault only occurred after the radio was flashed.”
