“Heater Core Windshield fogging because of antifreeze fumes interfering with the HVAC Yes the issue has been confirmed by the dealer (Sansone Ram, NJ) I wasn't sure but kept smelling antifreeze in the cabin and the front windshield was interfering with my view in front of me. This Vehicle is a 2024 Ram 1500 with approx 46000 miles, just a little out of the basic warranty but this issue is not a wear and tear issue, way to early for this vehicle to have this kind of Problem.”

NHTSA complaint #11728769, filed 2026-04

“Within the first 3,000 miles of purchasing the vehicle, it would randomly go into neutral (although) it indicated drive. No warning signals were activated. This happened 5 times. The dealership tried to re-train the transmission which appeared to work for a bit, however the car now shuts down completely with no warning. It will engage the emergency brake as well. This has happened 4 times now. I have an elderly mom living with me, a husband with Parkinson's and I take care of my grand children. This is a huge safety issue. …”

NHTSA complaint #11668068, filed 2025-06

“My mom was driving my 2024 Ram 1500 Limited equipped with eTorque and was coming to a stop. While decelerating, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly accelerated forward without her intentionally pressing the accelerator pedal. She immediately applied the brakes in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but I was unable to stop it before the vehicle struck a brick building. The collision caused damage to the front of my vehicle and substantial damage to the building’s brick exterior wall. The acceleration was unexpected and occurred while she was attempting to slow/stop the vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11766622, filed 2026-09

“The driver sun visor pivot arm broke while driving in very heavy traffic, and merging lanes. This cause my view forward to be complete blocked for several seconds until I could get it back into a position to successfully fold it back to its storage position. During this time I could not see any traffic, and had to turn my attention to the sun visor so to return my view of the highway. In my opinion, this put me and other drivers at risk because of 1) the period of time to remove the visor from blocking my sight, and 2) the inability to use this safety feature when it is needed. …”

NHTSA complaint #11717875, filed 2026-02

“While driving started smelling something burning. Pulled to the side of the road and opened the hood to find the truck on fire. The truck burned completely and is a total loss.”
