“Unintended acceleration while driving at a slower speed. The car suddenly sped up which was very alarming. I had to hit the brake to cause it to slow down. It happened once during a 4 mile trip. My spouse had reported a similar experience earlier in the evening. Also many functions like park assist, traction control etc seemed to be automatically disengaging”

NHTSA complaint #11564777, filed 2024-01

“2023 Tesla Model X repeatedly and frequently provides distracting false lane departure warning. A sudden loud noise is generated and the display flashes red. However there is no lane departure occurring when this warning is being generated. Has happened over 20 times in the last 2 to 3 months. Display additionally states corrective steering applied , however there is no force in the steering wheel. Tesla states this is by design.”

NHTSA complaint #11613256, filed 2024-09

“The primary issues are: The vehicle consistently chooses the wrong lane and drifts across yellow lines. The FSD visualization fails to correctly distinguish road markings, lanes, and turning arrows, causing them to move erratically on the display. The car attempts to merge into lanes that appear in the visualization but do not exist on the road. The vehicle attempts to merge into lanes that are ending, without recognizing the lane-ending markers. …”

“Autopilot full self driving is making dangerous mistakes and being disabled when you still have your hands on wheel and or looking at road it’s a safety system I paid for and it’s illegal for Tesla to disable it and not fix it”
