NHTSA complaint #10618380, filed 2014-08, 24,100 miles

“I want to bring to your attention a concern that is primarily one of safety but which also involves poor and misleading information by Toyota related to the blu-logic cell-phone connection system included as a feature on my new 2012 Camry hybrid. My concern stems from the fact that the blu-logic system, obviously coined to sound like bluetooth, and even listed on some dealer websites as a bluetooth connection, is misleadingly described as handsfree communication and a handsfree solution in the separate brochure provided by Toyota. …”

NHTSA complaint #10463455, filed 2012-06, 25 miles

“For the past several months my 2012 Camry A/C unit releases a foul mildew order. In-cabin filter as well as ozone depletion spray was completed twice over the span of one week at crown Toyota, however the foul smell shortly reappears when the car is turned on.”

NHTSA complaint #10592165, filed 2014-05, 17,500 miles

“Flat tire in home garage. Oe pantograph (scissor) jack was used in attempt to raise car. Excessive torque was necessary to begin lift, up to limit of flimsy jack handle. As vehicle neared top of necessary lift, jack flipped over sideways and was propelled out from under car with some force. Car fell. No injury or damage because I observed all safety precautions while lifting. Jack is flimsy, too small for the car, and has much too small a base. This occurred on level concrete floor. Markings on jack include: 2j141, 2012, and made in canada.”
