The main panel in front of the driver continues to turn off says driver's face unavailable, sit up, and more other features of the car that prevent the car from functioning correctly and fails to allow me to enjoy my new car. Turns cruise control off, beeps non stop, this was a previous recall that Toyota claims they fixed via over the air updates ! It has not fixed this problem despite assurances. “To whom it may concern, We purchased a brand-new car (2024 Toyota Crown Platinum Hybrid Max) from Fletcher Toyota in Joplin, MO for $50,000 USD around May or June of 2024. We have had 2 unresolved issues with the new car and the dealership has not resolved the issues even though it is under a bumper-to-bumper warranty. The 2 issues are that the wireless phone charger in the car is malfunctioning and not working with any phone we put with it, and the second concern is the accelerator will randomly quit working which can be dangerous. This is our only car for transportation. …”

NHTSA complaint #11607659, filed 2024-08

“2024 Crown Hybrid system keeps popping up on dash saying warm lamp came on twice: third time Warning lamp turned. Vehicle has been serviced twice at same dealer and then taken to another for same problem. The problem has not been resolved. Dealership indicates cannot duplicate problem. I have even shown the dealership from photo and not able to resolve.”
