“I had the front brakes and rotors replaced a few weeks ago. This past weekend all 4 tires were replaced. When driving off the dealer after the tire replacement, I noticed the ABS and vsc lights were on. Turned back and took the minivan back to the dealer. Next day service mgr said according to the mechanic, the ABS actuator needs to be replaced. This is a $2500 part, plus labor.”
NHTSA complaint #11142372, filed 2018-10, 130,000 miles“I opened the rear door and it would not shut. I took it to a mechanic that sent me to a body shop who referred me to the dealer. The center assembly hinge needs to be replaced. The door closed but had a crack and today when made a left turn the door opened by itself. Imagine if a child was in the back seat!!!”

NHTSA complaint #10376548, filed 2011-01, 65,000 miles“I am not happy with the brakes on my 2007 Toyota Sienna at all. On a dry surface, absolutely no problems. But on snowy roads or wet surfaces, they are not functioning properly and at couple of occasions I was scared to death when the vehicle was not stopping. If I am coming from a dry road and try to stop at an intersection (even at 30-40 miles/hr), where the surface is wet, I think the ABS comes into action. …”
