“Vibration in gas pedal, steering wheel and floor board every time the accelerator is engaged. Have carried to the dealer four times. Was told today 11/26/2014 that it is harmonic vibrations.I asked where was it coming from but was not provided any answers.I am concerned because it involves the gas pedal and the fact that the dealer will not tell me the source of the vibrations ,if they know.I also called Toyota corp.and filed a claim but was told if dealer and engineers said there was no problem,my only recourse would be a claim with NHTSA.”

NHTSA complaint #10669199, filed 2014-12, 8,750 miles

“While driving at various speeds (25mph or 65mph) I let off on the accelerator to either slow down or come to a stop, when accelerating again I get a check engine light and I have no power. I limp along for several minutes then all of a sudden the fuel pedal sensor that tells the ecu where the fuel pedal is at catches up and I’m able to continue on with my ride. This is a very dangerous situation to have happen because you are not expecting it and when it does happen it is very unnerving. I’ve spoken to various Toyota dealers and there seems to be a nonchalant attitude about it.”
