“I had issues with the fuel system and air bag light on just started. But dealer carmax did not tell about any recall for the fuel system few years ago. But I just seen that in your system. And car max changed me a lot of money for the fuel system being replace around feb/2016. So can some please help me with this issues. And wanted to will carmax be able get reimburse for them thanks”
NHTSA complaint #10881639, filed 2016-06, 60,000 miles“On june 29 2012 airbag indicator light came. Vehicle was taken to vw and they stated that it was the wire harness under the passenger seat. Since vehicle wa not under warranty I had to pay $375.00 to get it repaired (or so I thought) july 17th 2013 airbag light returned. On july 22nd 2013 I took car in to vw this time they had my car for two days and diagnosed the problem to be the airbag igniter. …”

Vehicle was totaled.I am not seriously injured but have severe pain in the neck and shoulders.I am the lucky one that I survived with out any major injuries but too worried about the airbags because lot of peoples out there driving the same model. Please consider this has high priority. I have pictures of the car that I can send in case you need them.”
NHTSA complaint #10512014, filed 2013-05, 58,000 miles“Recall -engine and engine cooling I have a 07 Jetta 2.0l. 2 months ago I noticed a gas smell when I took my oil cap off I noticed there was a lot of steam/smoke & I could tell that's where the smell was coming from. There was nothing visible other than the steam/gas vapor. The coolant level never moves. I was only getting 15 miles to the gallon because it was leaking into my engine. On 7/13/19 the engine seized (locked) up while I was driving it. I was driving my wife to work with our 5 year old son. …”
NHTSA complaint #11231739, filed 2019-07, 185,000 miles“A light came on the dashboard with the icon of the airbag. I looked it up and found that it was a warning light telling me that the sensors in the seat that detect someone sitting in the seat were faulty and could result in airbags not deploying in the event of an impact. Other owners of vw jettas from 2007 and years before and after have experienced this. There has been no recall although many owners, including myself, think there should be.”
