“Roof dents when going through car wash and blowers will dent the roof. GM has a service bulletin on this lbulletin number 23-NA-209 DATED March 24. Bulletin says that all Colorados built before Feb 3rd 2025 should be repaired and gives a part list and how to fix it 9 pages long. BUT GM says my vin number is not showing a recall and will not fix it My Colorado HAS NO DAMAGE BECAUSE I HAVENT PUT IT THROUTH A CAR WASH TRYING TO GET THEM TO FIX WITHOUT PUTTING A DENT IN IT. THE FIX IS PUTTING SUPPORTS IN THE ROOF TO REINFORCE IT.”
NHTSA complaint #11693188, filed 2025-10“After completing a right turn with a right turn signal, the vehicle will sometimes signal a left turn for 3 blinks. I believe this is because the turn signal stalk 'bounces' down to the left turn signal area when returning back to normal position from a right turn. This is a safety issue because the vehicle is signaling a left turn when no turn is intended. This could cause confusion to other drivers on the road. I have taken it to my dealer who attempted 3 times to fix with no success. It's a common issue that GM has not addressed for a long time now.”
NHTSA complaint #11631510, filed 2024-12“While the vehicle is in motion, And listening to XM radio, every commercial that comes on generates a banner flag across the speedometer screen. This is very distracting. It tends to draw the drivers’ eye from the road to the screen. Only problems with the vehicles operation should warrant such an action. This is an unnessasary action being that the radio screen displays the same information 10” away, out of the direct eye line of the driver, not to mention that I can hear the said commercial, I don’t need a visual que of the fact flashed on the speedometer. …”
NHTSA complaint #11556205, filed 2023-11“The first day of driving a brand new, 2023 Chevrolet Colorado, my turn signal shifter started to fail. When I move my turn signal left down (left turn position) then back to the neutral position, the left turn signal stays active. The turn signal shifters also binds and gets stuck in the neutral position and will not allow me to move the turn signal shifter upwards (right turn position). To fix this, I have to move the turn signal shifter back to the left turn position to get the shifter unstuck then it will allow me to move the turn signal shifter back upwards to the right turn position. …”
NHTSA complaint #11532566, filed 2023-07“Faulty Radiator Inlet Hose, upper radiator hose failure, outlined in PIT6494A. This is the third time that the light on the dashboard has come on for failure, the first time they Fixed it the second time they said it was the Battery, it was NOT!! This time they are saying what it really is, The Radiator Hose FAILURE, since the vehicle is only 3 years old but over the 36k mile WARRANTY, they will NOT fix! failure on their part.”
