Counts add up complaint mentions across the listed years. A complaint can name several parts.

Example complaints

One per model year, chosen for length and detail. Personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

2007: “The paint was constantly peeling off. Big splotches from hood would fly up to windshield and distract while driving. I have recently had whole van painted in order to prevent any more of this.these bare spots were rusting badly also. Very disappointed in this. I am seeing many other vans in town that have the same issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11124029, filed 2018-09, 60,000 miles

2005: “When driving on dry pavement the traction control or stabilitrak will kick on and it pulls to the right really hard on and off and its hard to control the vehicle. The first time it happened I actually thought I had a flat tire. When this is happening it feels like the anti-lock brakes also kick in as it is very hard to stop also. I have had this happen at 45mph and its terrifying im afraid if this happened at 70mph it would cause you to lose control of the vehicle”

NHTSA complaint #11184774, filed 2019-03, 36,400 miles

2013: “The vehicle randomly and autonomously applies the brakes and cuts engine power while driving. At this time the vehicle states service stabilitrak and the icon flashes that I am skidding, which I am not (I have video proof of this occuring). After 4 trips to the dealership the problem still persists. It is only a matter of time for this to occur while merging, or making a left across traffic and cause a serious and potentially fatal collision.”
