“Starting problem towed and worked on on several occasions. Mechanic replaced fuel pump, ECM relay, etc. All fixed the problem temporarily.mecanic refuses to work on the car now, can't find the problem. We knock on the fuse box in the trunk and get it to run but now dies randomly. The last time I drove it, it died in a blind intersection and I was almost t-boned.”

NHTSA complaint #11288306, filed 2019-12, 196,000 miles

“The service ESC and traction sensors flash, check engine light flashes. The car loses power and lurches and bucks. The car runs really rough and sounds horrible! The dealer said the fuel injectors needed $1700 worth of cleaning, but didn't mention any of the stuff we found from our research.”

NHTSA complaint #11022460, filed 2017-09, 130,000 miles

“I was driving home in the snow and my traction control kept going on. Then something seemed wrong and suddenly my speed was reduced to 5-10 MPH and my car started shaking and couldn't get a grip on the road at all. Then the car said engine power reduced, service traction, ESC off. Luckily I was only going about 20 MPH because it was snowing. Normally I would have been on the expressway going 55mph! And I have 2 kids! Luckily no one was hurt. …”

NHTSA complaint #10671798, filed 2015-01, 46,500 miles

“I bought my first car from a small dealership and within the last 35 days the alternator, battery, shocks, fuel pump and now the engine light is on....when you are driving it seems like the car don't want to go into gear. And when it finally goes into gear it jerks you. Also the electrical and temperature gage, the lights on dash board go in and out you can hear a faint noise coming from the dome light. Temperature gage stayed at cold when driving the vehicle around. Took car for a ride the next day and right away when driving it went about a quarter above cold???”

NHTSA complaint #11361324, filed 2020-09, 54,830 miles

“The fuel pump has burned connectors that are inside the fuel tank, the board lights intensity increases or decreases or stays off, all fuses are good, the GM is aware of this and 72 hours ago I'm waiting for an answer , I have fear that happen again, so I'm not using the car, where I can send pictures of the fuel pump, when I opened the case I ask them GM car rent it and revise mine to see if it was safe but until now no response, it seems that they want the car to burn.”
