“Turn on the radio, which is in a navigation system. Crackling sounds begin to be heard through the bose speakers after a few minutes and continue even after radio is turned off. Sound does not stop until key is in the off position and I exit the vehicle. The problem started infrequently, but now occurs every time I turn on the radio or navigation system. I took it to the dealer while it was still under warranty, but they stated no codes were showing on the computer. …”

“The speaker in the front driver side door started buzzing, and after a few months it had spread to all four speakers. The dealership says they won't repair it even though it is a well known and frequently occurring problem. This truck is only 2 and 1/2 years old. It has over 50,000 miles because I have a long commute to work.”

“I have a 2007 silverado... I noticed back in 2010 that the dash was cracked at the air bag area above the glove compartment but after doing some research it seems this is a common problem among these new body style years. 2014...my dealer offered me a repair discount of 20% which I thought was absurd !!!”
