“The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet SILVERADO 1500. The contact stated that the air conditioning unit emitted hot air inside the vehicle. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the air conditioner condenser needed to be replaced and that an elbow hose was leaking fluid. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist. The failure mileage was 68,000.”

The contact had not experienced a failure. Updated 08/30/16 the consumer stated the recall issue was rectified in july 2016. Updated 10/26/16.”
