“2014 Chevrolet SILVERADO 1500 crew cab lt. A/c blows hot air A/C condenser is leaking. This seams like a common problem that I and many more people think should be a recall started on. My 2014 siverodo only has 53,000 miles on it and I have always been a loyal Chevrolet truck customer. This vehicle is in all original condition and has never been wrecked or repaired.”

NHTSA complaint #11407498, filed 2021-04, 53,000 miles

“I purchased this vehicle june of 2018. I currently have 6+ pain chips on the truck and it keeps getting worse. I do not take the truck through automatic car washes and I keep the truck in a garage. I have seen other chevy silverado owners with the exact issue. I do not feel we should have to pay for these damages as its a defect to their paint job.”

NHTSA complaint #11217002, filed 2019-05, 65,000 miles

“62000 miles, and my 2014 silverado's, AC condensor is gapped, and seeping freon...this needs to be a national recall. Even an AC man told me he keeps a huge amount of these condensors on hand because they break too often, and too early in a 2014-15 silverado's. Simply a design flaw ..and say to costly for such a simple crack. Thank you for recalling this.”

NHTSA complaint #11082318, filed 2018-03, 62,000 miles

“The AC started blowing out hot air when I was driving back home. Took it to dealership and it came back that I had a broken condenser hose and it leaked out all the coolant. According to GM there well aware with the 2014 models doing this. That there's a defect in the hose, don't see why owners of these veichles should have to pay out of pocket.”

NHTSA complaint #11030241, filed 2017-09, 42,620 miles

“My truck shuts it's self off as your driving at any speed. I was doing 50 on the highway today when it shut down with no warning. I pulled of the road put it in park turned the key off. And it restarted. The truck has also had many other isues when I took the dealer for the break recall there were 5 coads all were electrical issues.the steering assist comes on when driving along minding your own business.”

NHTSA complaint #11301967, filed 2020-01, 77,600 miles
