“The cooling system has been failing, 1st I’ve had to replace the coolant control value twice, now my radiator is failing. This indicates to me there is an issue with the manufacturer of these parts. The pattern of failure has been confirmed by the service technician as well as research online. Online 2020-2026 3.0 liter duramax silverados made by Chevrolet and General Motors.”

NHTSA complaint #11773286, filed 2026-10

“While driving the vehicle the tailgate came open by itself. I had left my house and when I arrived at my friend’s house to pick him up the tailgate was down. I closed the tailgate and while driving a driver honked their horn to alert me that something was wrong. When I pulled off the road the tailgate had come open for a second time.”

NHTSA complaint #11707312, filed 2025-12

“Had a vehicle update for my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado and now my Onstar Module is toast and no longer under warranty bc I have 37,000 miles. Many reports of this happening to 2023 models but no recalls for this. Why should I have to pay $1000.00 for a part that is failing in many vehicles of the same year.”

NHTSA complaint #11737370, filed 2026-05

“Cluster screen is blinking and not showing speed or anything else. I did take it to the dealership they tried to reset it but that didn't work, I did talk to someone when I called the gm line but they said since I was a lil over t he warranty it was nothing they could do. GM help desk I believe, but I'm sure if the day is bot correct they have the call recorded to get the correct time and day”
