“The rear 3 piece power slide window that is leaking water into the cab in my truck. I’ve called about a dozen different auto glass shops and this is apparently a common issue. It’s ruining my upholstery in my vehicle. GM wants to charge me 1,000+ to fix. This is unacceptable if it’s a common issue and something nobody can control. Please recall this issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11774306, filed 2026-10

“I have both key fobs with me in the vehicle and it will not start. I have a message on the dash stating” key fob not detected” I live in North Dakota and the winters here reach temperature to -40. I find this issues to be very dangerous, potentially being stranded in the middle of nowhere and not being able to start your vehicle manually.”

NHTSA complaint #11636116, filed 2025-01

“I believe My onstar control module needs to be replaced after trying every option with them over the phone “resets and full battery unplugged reset” this is a major concern for me on the safety aspect of onstars main selling point of instant reports of accidents and is in my mind a major issue. I do not believe I should be on the hook for a $700-1500 part that failed with only 59000 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11748243, filed 2026-07

“My check engine light came on and the diagnostic code was p1098. I noticed there was a special warranty for my make and model and engine but for some reason mine does not have this special warranty. I have researched and found out this is a common problem with these trucks. I think there should be a recall for this as it poses safety problems and concerns when it enters limp mode”

NHTSA complaint #11703881, filed 2025-12

“My rear wheels locked up at 40mph and I had it towed to bacon Chevrolet in Jacksonville, Texas this truck completely scared me and my family the night before I was going 70 thank God the rear wheels did not lock up at that point. I’ve never experienced this problem but it seems very dangerous.”
