“Brakes suddenly failed upon entering a highway requiring me to press the brake pedal to the floor in order to stop. Inspection and actuationshowed brake fluid squirting out of rusty brake lines. I am a metallurgist, I know what corrosion is. I am so thankful that no one was killed. I live in florida. The truck has never been out of the state.”

NHTSA complaint #10871958, filed 2016-06, 137,800 miles

“I have had to get my brakes fixed 3 times and they just went again. Gmc does not stand behind their vehicles. I will not be buying another GM vehicle and when I or someone else gets hurt I will be suing gmc”

NHTSA complaint #11311098, filed 2020-02, 170,000 miles

“I have a 2004 chevy silverado and the speedometer gets stuck on a different number every time I get in it. It never goes back to zero and I never know how fast I am going. I contacted a friend that works for a GM dealership and he said they had a recall on all 2003 and 2004 for this problem. So I took it up there and the man I talked to said the recall was only good for trucks under 70,000 miles. My truck has 128000 miles. But it seems to me if they knew it was a bad part and how important this part was it shouldn't have a mileage limit for a recall.”

NHTSA complaint #10295751, filed 2009-12, 127,000 miles

“When driving or stop and the air conditioner is on it start blowing hot air just on the left side. The vehicle can be stationary or in motion. City street or a highway or turning.”

NHTSA complaint #10936095, filed 2016-12, 97,000 miles

“The AC/heater passenger vent ducts do not relay heater air flow function - only directs cold air, both over and under dashboard. The driver's side is ok.”

NHTSA complaint #11047179, filed 2017-11, 9,000 miles
