“I am having issues with my 2914 silverado losing power steering and turning off when I place the car in reverse to back into a parking spot. The truck has also cut off randomly when turning the steering wheel in a parking lot. The issue is not constant thus hard to diagnose. I have taken the truck to chevy twice and the mechanics were not able to recreate the issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11342686, filed 2020-08, 72,000 miles

“Stabilitrek flashes and then vehicles steering locks up and the truck dies. Usually it's when I'm going slow and usually it's when I'm turning. This is happening now in august of 2020 but also happened a few years ago and then there was a recall. It's very dangerous. No warning and the truck dies very unexpectedly. Please fix this problem I see others are complaining too”

NHTSA complaint #11342938, filed 2020-08, 120,000 miles

“When I take low speed turns, either going forward or backwards, the power steering starts going in and out and the radio will turn off. Sometime the whole vehicle will shut off or just turn off then right back on. The stability track messege pops up on the dash. When this happens my vehicle will reset itself.”

NHTSA complaint #11407232, filed 2021-04, 107,000 miles

“When I am driving I turn the blinker on or press the brake and the stable track comes on truck turns off at low speeds when I am turning the wheel or pressing the brake took it to the chevy dealership and nothing I tell them I almost crashed due to this issue and they say it's your hole wired electrical system that doesn't make sense I tell them I need recalls done and they still do nothing”

NHTSA complaint #11405080, filed 2021-03, 80,000 miles

“I was about 10 minutes into my morning commute after remote starting my vehicle. I was stopped in a drive thru line. Started to smell electrical burning. Heard a loud pop and my rear window on the driver side of the slider had shattered and there was smoke coming from the lower center corner where the window meets the defroster connector.”
