“When driving, if I do something electrical, like applying the brakes or using my turn signal, the entire car electrical system shuts off for a second and sometimes jerks the steering wheel out of my hand. It usually restarts immediately on its own while driving. I've had it also while parked with just the radio on, that everything just died. Then it took a few tries before the truck engine turned over to try starting it”

NHTSA complaint #11377189, filed 2020-11, 68,000 miles

“Driving at 2 miles an hour or 65 miles an hour I have an issue with a bad vibration and a shaking coming unknown source. It feels like I'm hitting potholes that are a foot deep when traveling down the road it happens in various times I could be traveling on the highway and it scares me to the point where I have to pull over the vibration is in a floorboard the gas pedal the brake pedal it continues to get worse everyday I've had it to the shop one to two times a month for over a year. …”

NHTSA complaint #11318163, filed 2020-03, 35,000 miles

“Starting vehicle up at my home. Service engine light came on and it idled roughly. I took it it to the dealer and they found coolant getting into a cylinder. They have to order a new cylinder head. This vehicle is only 18 months old with 15600 miles on it.”

NHTSA complaint #11004824, filed 2017-07, 15,600 miles

“While traveling eastbound on interstate 10 from van horn to fort stockton at approximately 85 MPH with a semi parallel on the right hand lane and an SUV directly behind me no more than 3 car lengths away, the check engine light activated and all power was lost. When the engine shutdown luckily the SUV behind me was able to slow down after I immediately activated my emergency flashers and I was able to safely, after almost causing an accident, move over to the right hand shoulder/grass area. …”

NHTSA complaint #11340482, filed 2020-07, 70,400 miles

“I made a turn at an intersection going 0mph to 10mph (low speed) and the engine shut down. Luckily I had a enough momentum to clear the intersection and not get t-boned. I was able to put the vehicle into neutral and start it again to drive off. No dash lights came on and I still had power steering indicating the key was still in the on position. I believe this is not an uncommon problem as there are at least 2 other reports of this happening in the NHTSA data base with this particular trucks year, make and model. …”
