Example complaints
Fuel system: “The fuel transfer pump, which moves fuel from the rear tank to the front tank has malfunctioned. This has caused the fuel gauge to read inaccurately, causing engine to stop running, has illuminated the service engine light multiple times, displaying code p2068 and p0463. Vehicle can run out of fuel unexpectedly, due to gauge showing more fuel than is available. This has caused the engine to stall unexpectedly. This problem is exactly as described in recall document 13421 from GM, however, the VIN number of my vehicle is not included in the recall. …”
NHTSA complaint #11206543, filed 2019-05, 98,000 milesAir bags: “Takata recall. The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number 21V054000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available.”
NHTSA complaint #11421016, filed 2021-06Steering: “Steering gets very hard to turn (like when the engine if off) when vehicle is in motion and has happened on multiple occasions over the past year or more. When it's happened it's been difficult to control the vehicle and the dealership I take it to doesn't think it's something Chevrolet is going to resolve under warranty since they have not been able to repeat the problem themselves at their shop. I worry that it will come up at an inopportune time causing a possible accident.”

56% of the 9 complaints with a mileage were filed for vehicles with under 50,000 miles; the middle half falls between 18,000 and 98,000 miles.
